About the Role

Ramboll Group A/S is a global engineering, design, and consultancy company seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Engineering practice. As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a key role in managing existing and evolving investigation and remediation projects primarily in the Northeast region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Successfully manage the execution of investigation, remediation, and design projects, including remedial investigations, remedy selection, remedial designs, remedial actions, and post-remediation monitoring programs.
  • Effectively lead the development and finalization of technical documents, including work plans/scoping documents, remedial investigation reports, feasibility studies, remedial action reports, and post-remediation monitoring reports.
  • Lead business development and project management activities, including scope and budget development, proposal writing, budget/milestone tracking, client presentation, and regulatory interaction.
  • Assist in identifying and pursuing business development opportunities within service lines, spearheads, sectors, key accounts, and/or growth initiatives.
  • Regularly interact with existing and prospective clients, and establish collaborative project teams of Engineers, Geologists, Scientists, and Subject Matter Experts.
  • Provide technical quality reviews of work products developed by others and coordinate the work of other engineering disciplines into the final design deliverables.
  • Coach and mentor project team members to develop their professional and project management skills, in collaboration with Division/People Managers.
  • Act as a leader in implementing and promoting health and safety requirements and guidance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Science, or other related field and 15 to 25 years of relevant experience.
  • Working knowledge of state and federal regulations and technical guidance (e.g., NJDEP TRSR, NYSDEC DER-10, PA Act 2, RCRA, CERCLA, TSCA).
  • 40-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification and up-to-date 8-hour refresher.
  • Solid project management skills, with strong technical and client relationship building capabilities.
