About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Attorney to join our team at Hunt Hive Talent Recruiting Agency. As a key member of our litigation defense team, you will be responsible for handling various aspects of civil litigation, with a focus on Medical Malpractice, General Liability, and Employment defense.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft and review discovery documents and motions.
  • Attend, take, and defend depositions, including fact and expert witnesses.
  • Conduct legal and medical research and summarize meetings with expert witnesses and records.
  • Attend court hearings and argue motions as necessary.
  • Assist in trial preparation, including drafting trial documents and motions in limine.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an attorney, with a focus on civil litigation (plaintiff or defense).
  • Member of the California Bar in good standing.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, ability to manage complex caseloads, and work independently with minimal oversight.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Interest in medical malpractice litigation.
  • Prior experience in medical malpractice or civil litigation defense.
  • Effective team collaboration skills.
