We are seeking a skilled Cook to prepare and cook high-quality seafood dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook a variety of seafood dishes, including appetizers, entrees, and desserts
- Ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely and efficient manner
- Ensure all dishes are prepared according to our recipes and standards of quality
- Keep the kitchen area clean and organized at all times
- Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed
- Work with the kitchen team to develop new menu items
- Collaborate with the front of house team to ensure a positive customer experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience working in a professional kitchen
- Strong knowledge of seafood preparation and cooking techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
- Experience working in an upscale casual restaurant environment
- Knowledge of seafood sustainability practices
