Position: Senior Business Systems Analyst (SAP ERP - Plant Maintenance)

Department: KaGA

OBJECTIVE:
This role is pivotal in the support, upkeep, and enhancement of the SAP ERP system, with a specific focus on the Plant Maintenance Module. The analyst will be tasked with identifying business challenges, defining requirements, and designing software solutions to address organizational information needs.

The responsibilities include determining operational goals, gathering relevant data, and assessing output requirements and formats. Close collaboration with end users is essential to analyze, define, model, and document system requirements. The analyst will also identify project milestones, phases, and elements, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. Responsibilities further include constructing workflow diagrams, studying system capabilities, and drafting specifications. Additionally, the role involves developing a framework for organizational change management and conducting user acceptance testing. The analyst may also create user documentation such as guides, process flow charts, and training materials, and deliver training sessions.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct post-implementation support activities for SAP.
  • Continuously seek to enhance business systems processes, driving efficiency through best practices.
  • Ensure product upgrades and future projects align with business requirements and user needs.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of client business functions to facilitate effective change management.
  • Develop use cases, test plans, and test scripts.
  • Execute testing plans to ensure system modifications meet business needs.
  • Possess knowledge of ABAP and interface-related issues impacting business processes.
  • Provide user training in the SAP SCM area.
  • Act as a key resource for coordinating and resolving SAP issues through a thorough understanding of R/3 functionality.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer and support for other staff members.
  • Prepare periodic status reports for management and user groups.
  • Communicate with users regarding daily maintenance issues and projects.
  • Lead small to medium-scale projects within the finance sector.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

SCOPE OF WORK:
Supervisory Responsibility: None
Decision-Making: Works on diverse problems requiring data analysis and evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates sound judgment in selecting methods and techniques for solutions. Networks with senior personnel in the area of expertise.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the SAP PM domain.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Proficient in developing business requirements documentation, process flows, and presentations.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of SAP PM.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Technical expertise in design, configuration, testing, and debugging of SAP MM.
  • Understanding of integration points between modules and their dependencies within SCM.
  • Ability to comprehend ABAP and SAP interfaces.
  • Capable of identifying changes in business needs and translating them into effective solutions.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in the automotive industry is preferred.

CERTIFICATIONS:

  • SAP PM or MM Certification is preferred.

Salary Range: $115,000 to $124,800 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package and performance incentives.
