About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Oncology Nurse Clinician to join our team at US Oncology, Inc in Dallas. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading healthcare organization and make a meaningful impact on the lives of cancer patients.

Job Summary

The Senior Oncology Nurse Clinician will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and promoting evidence-based practices. As a senior-level nurse, you will have the opportunity to mentor junior staff members and contribute to the development of nursing protocols and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing treatment for various types of cancer
  • Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Mentor and educate junior staff members on best practices and policies
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of nursing protocols and procedures
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent required; Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a registered nurse in an oncology setting
  • Current RN state license with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $93,000-$113,000 based on experience and qualifications.
