Position Overview:
The Culinary Ministry Support Specialist is essential in delivering outstanding hospitality at Christ Community Chapel (CCC). Our culinary team addresses various church needs, from serving refreshments to orchestrating large meals for numerous attendees. This role offers part-time, flexible hours and reports directly to the Culinary Services Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Prepare, cook, and serve meals for different events hosted at CCC facilities.
  • Ensure cleanliness in the kitchen and assist in tracking inventory levels of food and supplies.
  • Deliver friendly and attentive service to all church members and visitors.
  • Lead volunteer teams during larger events as required.
  • Demonstrate adaptability and quick thinking in response to changing circumstances.
  • Engage fully as a team member at CCC.

Qualifications:

  • Maintain a vibrant and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • Previous experience in food service and/or kitchen operations.
  • ServSafe certification is preferred.
  • Availability to work some evenings and weekends, with flexibility for additional shifts.
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with others.
  • Dedication to the mission and vision of Christ Community Chapel.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout church facilities.
  • Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally.
