Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician III to join our Facilities Management & Operations team at PATH (People Assisting the Homeless). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance tasks, including repairs, upkeep, and safe operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the proper working order of our facilities and equipment.
  • Assist in the maintenance of records regarding vehicle repairs and cost analyses.
  • Participate in emergencies, including fires, earthquakes, and gas leaks, and respond to ensure the safety of our participants, staff, and visitors.
  • Collaborate with the Facilities & Operations Administrative Assistant to maintain vehicle registrations and ensure all are up to date.

Requirements

  • Five (5) years of general maintenance experience in building/equipment maintenance, carpentry, and repairs.
  • Two (2) years of experience in plumbing and/or electrical maintenance.
  • Basic computer skills and/or demonstrated aptitude to use computer-based technologies, including a CMMS, Microsoft Office Software, and Microsoft Teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Written and verbal Spanish language proficiency in addition to the primary language used in the workplace (English).
  • Plumbing certification.
