Summary: Under the general direction of the Kitchen Manager, this Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing the production of high-quality baked goods at LaMar's Donuts. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the company's recipes and be able to manage a team to meet stringent deadlines.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of production staff to ensure efficient and effective production of baked goods.
- Develop and implement processes to improve productivity and quality.
- Monitor and control costs to ensure profitability.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Train and develop staff to improve skills and knowledge.
- Accurately tabulate payroll for production staff.
- Estimate food costs and profits to adjust production accordingly.
- Maximize restaurant profitability by controlling portion sizes and monitoring accuracy of charges.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by enforcing sanitation standards and procedures.
- Enhance department reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
