Job Description:

Qwalifize LLC is in search of a proficient Building Permit Technician who possesses exceptional communication skills. This role is crucial for managing permit submissions, assessing documentation, and ensuring adherence to established regulations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to assist various departments effectively. Comprehensive training will be provided to enhance your technological skills. This position will report directly to the Building Code Official and may encompass additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role
  • Expertise in document organization and software application usage
  • Experience in maintaining permit records
  • Ability to offer guidance and support to colleagues

Preferred Experience:

  • Familiarity with permitting software systems

Physical Requirements:

  • Capability to perform light physical tasks and maintain sensory functions
  • No exposure to adverse environmental conditions

Educational Background:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of clerical or technical work experience, including 3 years in construction or a related field
  • Certification as a Permit Technician is preferred
