Job Summary:

Genesis Consulting is seeking an experienced DevOps Coach to help our clients modernize and expand their DevOps practices. In this role, you will work closely with clients to evaluate their current DevOps culture, processes, and tools to make recommendations for improvements, lead the execution of identified improvements, and be a hands-on engineer as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Analyze current technology utilized within the organization and provide recommendations on improvements.
  • Assist developers and engineers in creating practical demonstrations of proposed solutions.
  • Work closely with development and engineering professionals within the agency to maintain infrastructure and software required for products to be continually delivered effectively.
  • Mentor and train other developers and engineers throughout the agency and seek to continually improve processes.
  • Develop and enhance DevOps operations in multiple cloud service environments.
  • Perform in the entire software development life cycle of the DevOps tool chain.
  • Collaborate on idea creation and development of the DevOps tool chain.
  • Support the ongoing lifecycle maintenance of the DevOps tool chain.
  • Support the software quality efforts associated with product deliveries.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of five (5) years of software engineering and DevOps experience.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of management or coaching experience.
  • Must have experience in designing and implementing end-to-end continuous delivery pipelines.
  • Must have AWS cloud experience in a production environment.
  • Must have strong experience with Configuration Management and Infrastructure as Code.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Agile Certification Required.
  • SAFe Certification Preferred.
  • Technical Development certifications Preferred.
