Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Aperion Care Marion. As a key member of our care team, you will provide exceptional support to our residents, ensuring their health, welfare, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily living activities, including serving meals, providing fresh water, and promoting personal hygiene.
  • Support residents with mobility, turning, and positioning, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Monitor vital signs, weight, and intake/output information to maintain resident stability.
  • Provide emotional support and comfort to residents, responding to their needs and requests.
  • Document actions and observations, maintaining accurate records and confidentiality.
  • Adhere to professional standards, company policies, and federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance job knowledge and skills.

Requirements:

  • Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with state laws.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Long-term care experience preferred.
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Physical Demands:

  • Regularly sit, stand, bend, and walk; lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
  • Visual and auditory ability sufficient for written and verbal communication.
  • Work in a moderate noise level environment.
