Physician / Psychiatry - Child Adolescent Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Child Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team at an Inpatient Psychiatric Unit in Massachusetts.
The ideal candidate will have experience in treating children and adolescents with acute psychiatric crises, requiring inpatient admission on a general adolescent unit.
The unit has 22 beds with a typical census of 18 to 20, and the psychiatrist will round on about 8 patients.
The EMR platform used is EPIC, and the position is full-time, requiring 40 hours per week, with a preference for on-site work, though a hybrid schedule might be considered short-term.
Key Responsibilities:
- Treating children and adolescents with acute psychiatric crises
- Handling inpatient admissions on a general adolescent unit
- Collaborating with the treatment team to develop and implement treatment plans
Requirements:
- Board eligibility is acceptable
- Ability to work in a fast-paced inpatient setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
