The Enhancement Group (TRG) is currently seeking Records Management Specialists to join our team in providing support to a Federal client. This role is primarily focused on first shift operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine records management and administrative tasks to assist clients with records inventory, lifecycle management, and related services.
  • Perform data entry in specialized databases, with a strong proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
  • Retrieve and assess files to determine their appropriate disposition.
  • Review records for clearance levels, disposition dates, and other critical information.
  • Utilize databases to locate files and organize loose documents.
  • Evaluate eligibility dates to ascertain whether files should be transferred, destroyed, or returned.
  • Reorganize or repair files as necessary.
  • Return files to designated storage locations.
  • Conduct inventory of records and files.
  • Manage the destruction of records in accordance with protocols.
  • Prepare and package records for shipment, which may involve combining boxes and utilizing equipment for movement.
  • Organize incoming mail.
  • Prepare physical files for high-speed scanning by removing fasteners.
  • Reassemble physical files to their original condition.
  • Conduct electronic reviews of scanned images to ensure quality and clarity.
  • Rescan pages as needed using desktop scanners.
  • Engage in additional special projects as directed by management.

Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is required; a High School Diploma with 5 years of experience may be considered.
  • Possession of an active DOD Top Secret security clearance with CI Poly eligibility is essential.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in support-related services is required.
  • Experience in an office setting is preferred.
  • Proficiency in information technology applications and systems is necessary.
  • Ability to effectively utilize Microsoft applications, particularly Excel and Word, for tracking and reporting purposes.
  • Competence in accessing and utilizing various applications and databases for records management.
  • Familiarity with general clerical principles and practices, including file organization and maintenance.
  • Capability to perform both quantitative and qualitative assessments of work.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
