Van Metre Companies is in search of a Community Engagement Specialist to join our New Homes Division.

As a Community Engagement Specialist at Van Metre Homes, your main duty is to provide an outstanding homebuying journey for prospective buyers. This includes conducting captivating tours, optimizing the use of our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, ensuring precise documentation, working alongside various teams, maintaining data accuracy, and proactively ensuring that the community and its homes are well-presented.

Our Model Homes are accessible every day of the week. The two days off for this role will be scheduled during the week. Weekend availability is essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities of the Community Engagement Specialist

  • Tour Management: Create a remarkable homebuying experience by leading engaging tours of model homes and the surrounding community for potential buyers. This involves using proactive follow-up techniques to nurture promising leads and convert them into buyers.
  • Prospect Engagement: Leverage Van Metre's CRM system to identify and connect with prospects interested in your community. This includes executing strategic outreach campaigns through various communication channels.
  • Product Knowledge: Exhibit extensive knowledge of the community, its offerings, and Van Metre's construction methods and materials, as well as market trends, to effectively communicate the community's value to potential buyers.
  • Traffic Oversight: Ensure accurate tracking of all appointments and prospect interactions by maintaining up-to-date traffic records. This includes timely logging of appointments and thorough documentation of prospect traffic.
  • Sales Collaboration: Work closely with the Community Executive and Community Engagement Manager to identify opportunities for collaboration with Marketing and other teams to enhance community performance.
  • Data Management: Maintain data integrity across Van Metre's CRM and related systems, ensuring proper documentation sharing and storage.
  • Community Presentation: Actively ensure that the community and its homes are always tidy and visually appealing, overseeing regular maintenance and cleaning schedules.

Objectives of the Community Engagement Team

  • Operational Oversight: Manage daily sales office functions and provide mentorship opportunities.
  • Community Presentation: Ensure an optimal appearance of the community and homes.
  • Customer Engagement: Deliver exceptional communication through personalized outreach and engaging initiatives.
  • Sales Achievement: Meet sales targets through effective tours and contract appointments.
  • Data Accuracy: Ensure the integrity of data used for sales reporting and consumer trend analysis.
  • Administrative Duties: Participate in meetings with various partners to ensure smooth operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in sales is preferred.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed goals.
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends.
  • Strong public speaking, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Essential Qualifications

  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Realtor's License is not required, but active licensees must inactivate their license.
