Electrical Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team at VAA, LLC. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for industrial facilities, including ethanol, specialty chemical, grain handling, and feedmills. You will also be involved in the preparation of high-quality construction documentation, including calculations, drawings, and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality engineering services, including design and development of electrical systems.
  • Assist with the preparation of construction documentation, including calculations, drawings, and specifications.
  • Perform construction phase site observations and produce site observation reports as required.
  • Efficiently use appropriate software to complete engineering design.
  • Manage time based on project budget and schedule.
  • Communicate with clients and contractors regarding RFI's and field questions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 4+ years of electrical engineering experience in design and construction or P.E. license.
  • Experience with electrical system studies (SKM or ETAP).
  • Proficient with software such as Revit, Bluebeam, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
  • PV design experience preferred.
