Medical Support Services Provider

Job Summary:
SOS International LLC is seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our medical support services program in Columbus, NM. As a key member of our team, you will provide direct care to patients, including children, pregnant women, and adults, to include emergency and urgent care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides direct care, within their scope of practice, to patients, including children, pregnant women, and adults, to include emergency and urgent care.
- Consults with the Supervising Physician, Physician, or Pediatric Adviser for complex medical, pediatric, or psychiatric patients, completes orders recommended/authorized by the physician.
- Performs history and physical assessment, behavioral health care, minor outpatient procedures, patient education, and refers any care beyond the scope of the medical unit to local medical facilities emergency departments or urgent care centers.
Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Candidates must have an unrestricted, current Registered Nurse license and Advanced Practitioner Registered Nurse license valid in the location in which duty will be performed.
- Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program located in a State, the District of-Columbia, or a U.S. territory.
- Must have a minimum of one year of clinical provider experience in direct patient care as a certified nurse practitioner.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Clean criminal background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish encouraged, but not required.
- Experience in detention/correctional healthcare, ambulatory care, or a pediatric care setting encouraged, but not required.
Work Environment:
- May be required to travel short notice.
- May be required to serve at various medical units within the sector/region.
- Duties will be performed on-site at medical units, flexible scheduling and overtime are optional, as available.
