Electrical Engineer EIT Opportunity at Clark Nexsen

The Electrical Engineer EIT will play a crucial role in the design, analysis, and selection of electrical systems for a variety of architectural projects, encompassing commercial, educational, and governmental structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Executing various Electrical Engineering design assignments under the supervision of Senior Engineers
  • Engaging with clients and team members to ensure seamless integration of electrical designs
  • Complying with quality assurance protocols
  • Enhancing design capabilities while adhering to company standards
  • Preparing essential project documentation and assisting during the proposal phase
  • Contributing to team discussions and coordinating with colleagues
Project Duties:
  • Carrying out Engineer or Senior Engineer tasks as instructed
  • Supporting fee proposal development and ensuring document clarity
  • Creating precise three-dimensional models and design alternatives
  • Participating in building code evaluations and system selections
Qualifications:
  • Graduated from an ABET-accredited engineering program
  • Must possess EI or EIT certification
  • Familiarity with sustainable design principles and LEED certification is advantageous
  • 1-4 years of post-graduation experience in electrical engineering
  • Prior knowledge of building codes and standards is preferred
