Compensation:
Base Rate Range: $20/hr - $30/hr
Annual Profit Sharing Estimate: $4,160 - $6,240
Salary is determined by experience, expertise, and interview performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and inspire the electrical assembly team working on power supply for various legacy projects, including ground testing equipment, PCB, cabling, and wire harness designs according to specifications and blueprints.
- Assist in the inspection and testing of assembled products to ensure quality and functionality.
- Support troubleshooting efforts during assembly processes.
- Develop project schedules and assign responsibilities to guarantee timely delivery.
- Manage submission of work orders and documentation processes.
- Lead assembly projects involving connectors with over 145 pins efficiently.
- Train team members on interpreting blueprints for cable and harness assembly, including end connector installation, continuity pin testing, and heat shrink application.
- Provide training on precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Support and train in PCB assembly, including soldering ICs, resistors, diodes, transistors, and capacitors.
- Offer hands-on support as needed and maintain strong communication to address technical inquiries on the production floor.
- Effectively interpret blueprints, drawings, and assembly instructions for the team.
- Engage in leadership meetings, implement production enhancements, and support lean manufacturing initiatives.
- Manage full assembly production to comply with all necessary regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a lead role within Electrical Assembly.
- At least 6 years of experience in electrical assembly, PCB, cabling, wire harness, and routing wire.
- Preferred experience of 6+ years in Aerospace, EV, or Medical industries.
- Demonstrated success in a multidisciplinary product design environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with IPC Standards and J standards is required; certification is a plus.
