Key Responsibilities

The Chief Growth Officer (CGO) will be instrumental in crafting and executing the growth strategy for Mayo Collaborative Services, LLC (MCS), a distinct entity within the Mayo Foundation. MCS operates several independent business lines, with Mayo Clinic Laboratories being the most significant, serving millions of patients globally through numerous healthcare organizations.

The CGO will leverage their medical expertise alongside strong business, marketing, and sales skills to drive competitive growth. This role requires proactive relationship management and the pursuit of new business avenues that align with MCS's strategic vision of becoming a diversified medical diagnostics enterprise. The CGO will unify all business segments within MCS, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the organization.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the CGO will collaborate closely with the MCS Executive Team and senior leaders across various departments, both domestically and internationally.

Qualifications
  • Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with experience in clinical practice
  • Bachelor's degree and MBA with a focus on Management, Entrepreneurship, or Finance
  • Proven experience in leading merger and acquisition initiatives
  • Track record of successful executive leadership in complex Fortune 500 environments
  • Progressive growth in leadership roles and responsibilities
  • Ability to establish long-term strategic partnerships
  • Experience in formulating and executing healthcare business transformation strategies
  • Proficient in identifying and engaging potential investors and partners
  • Strong communication skills to convey complex ideas to senior management and boards

  • Experience in international healthcare markets in both business and clinical capacities
