As a Pharmacy Technician, you will undertake various responsibilities associated with the processing of prescription orders. Throughout your journey, you will benefit from the training, support, and career pathways offered by a Fortune 5 leader.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispense a variety of medications including tablets, capsules, unit doses, specialty pharmaceuticals, injectables, IV solutions, and related supplies in compliance with state and federal regulations as well as company policies.
  • Process, package, and dispatch outgoing pharmacy orders, ensuring that medications, related supplies, and patient educational materials are included.
  • Conduct drug and supply ordering, manage inventory and warehouse tasks, ensure proper storage of medications, monitor and calibrate pharmacy equipment, and fill dispensing units as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Possession of an active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Illinois.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a pharmacy setting.
  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB).
  • Experience with pharmacy and prescription data entry.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs. frequently in a warehouse environment.
