We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Department Supervisor to join our team at Westpark Village LLC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the Maintenance Department and ensuring that our facility is maintained in a safe and comfortable manner.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and direct the daily maintenance functions of assigned personnel, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Maintenance Operations: Develop and implement procedures for performing daily maintenance tasks, standardizing methods and ensuring compliance with established policies and regulations.
- Work Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule work assignments, prepare work schedules, and revise as necessary to ensure that tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Quality Assurance and Control: Implement recommendations from the Infection Control, Safety, and QA Committees, ensuring that maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Ensure that painting, rework, or repairing of facility equipment is accomplished in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Training and Development: Assist in the orientation and training of maintenance personnel, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Education and Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent, with at least 3 years of experience in a maintenance department in a health-related facility.
- Licensing and Certifications: None required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and sit for extended periods, move freely through the building, and perform tasks that require physical effort, including lifting and carrying heavy objects.
- Physical Conditions: Ability to work in extreme temperatures, noise, wet and/or humid environments, and exposure to vibration.
- Workplace Hazards: Exposure to blood, body fluids, and/or infectious disease, hot water, mechanical, electrical, chemical, and gasses.
