About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Radiology Tech to join our team at AdventHealth Daytona Beach. As a Cardiovascular Radiology Tech, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our cardiovascular services department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a wide range of technical skills, including angiography, preparation, assessment, documentation, and monitoring, consistent with the policies, procedures, and processes of the Cardiovascular Services department and Hospital Administration.
  • Adhere to the guidelines and standards of professional practice associations and actively participate in outstanding customer service.
  • Learns and upgrades skills, utilizing knowledge base to assist with orientation, training, and education of new personnel, and provides training for procedures within their competency.
  • Proficiently performs diagnostic and complex coronary interventional procedures, diagnostic and complex electrophysiology procedures, diagnostic and complex peripheral interventional procedures, and/or structural heart procedures, and/or diagnostic and complex pediatric interventional procedures.
  • May perform waived and/or non-waived Point of Care Testing, if performing non-waived Point of Care Testing, as defined by the state and the facility, must have approved competency and documented proof at the time of the facility non-waived Point of Care training.
  • Participates in quality and performance improvement activities with the goal to improve patient outcomes, accurately documents and monitors activities as needed, and participates in unit/service line budgeting processes to ensure a cost-effective, quality-focused environment.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or related field.
  • Experience with Complex Peripheral Interventional Procedures, Electrophysiology Diagnostic and Interventional Procedures, or Structural Heart Procedures.
  • Must possess and maintain ONE of the following certifications: Radiologic Technologist [R.T.(R)].
