Job Title: Laboratory Manager

Serve as the primary point of contact for laboratory operations, ensuring seamless execution of testing and analysis services for clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee laboratory testing operations, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to laboratory staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement laboratory procedures, ensuring alignment with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Manage laboratory budgets, resources, and personnel, ensuring optimal utilization and minimizing costs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their needs and preferences to deliver tailored laboratory services.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, applying this knowledge to drive laboratory innovation and improvement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, with a focus on Chemistry or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in instrumentation and calibration, preferably in a chemistry lab setting.
  • 3-5 years of management or supervisory experience, with a proven track record of leadership and team development.
  • Prior experience in the oil and gas industry is highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on quality and safety.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and laboratory software applications.
