Program Facilitator for Youth Empowerment

About the Role
">We are seeking a dedicated Program Facilitator to join our team at Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Badgerland. As a facilitator, you will play a vital role in empowering young girls through educational and engaging activities that foster courage, confidence, and character.
">Job Summary
">This is an hourly, non-exempt position requiring 10-15 hours per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing enriching activities for youth aged 5-13, aligning with the Girl Scouts Leadership Experience (GSLE) educational goals and themes.
">Key Responsibilities

- Plan and implement engaging activities for youth, ensuring alignment with GSLE goals and themes;">
- Develop positive relationships with youth, parents, and school staff;">
- Ensure required paperwork is completed, including daily attendance records, registration forms, outcomes surveys, and other reporting documents;">
- Deliver informational presentations to recruit girls and adult volunteers;">
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with local schools, parent organizations, and community organizations;">
- Submit lesson plans for each session in advance and implement end-of-session evaluations;">
Requirements
">- ">
- 18 years or older;">
- Associate's degree in child care or 1+ years of experience working with school-aged children;">
- Detail-oriented, energetic, ambitious, proactive, and positive individual with good oral and written communication skills;">
- Ability to teach simple concepts and engage youth in Girl Scouts activities;">
- Reliable transportation and ability to drive in all conditions;">
- Previous Girl Scout experience is a bonus;">
- Bilingual preferred but not required;">
- Able to work Monday-Thursday, 3-6 pm, with occasional weekend hours;">
Salary and Benefits
">The estimated salary for this position is $18 per hour. We offer a competitive compensation package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
">Work Environment
">The physical demands of this role include prolonged periods of sitting, operating office equipment manually, and lifting up to 25 pounds. The ideal candidate must be adaptable, have excellent communication and customer service skills, and be able to work independently and collaboratively.
