POSITION SUMMARY:
This role is essential for providing supervision and assistance to students in various support environments, focusing on both academic and behavioral management within designated areas for student intervention.

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS:
  1. Oversee students assigned to specific support areas.
  2. Implement intervention strategies, including peer mediation and conflict resolution.
  3. Foster positive relationships with students to boost their self-esteem and encourage a love for learning.
  4. Assist students individually or in small groups with academic tasks as directed by classroom educators.
  5. Guide students in conflict resolution and management as needed.
  6. Communicate with parents as required.
  7. Prepare reports on student progress as requested by school administration.
  8. Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries with students and families.
  9. Uphold fairness, respect, and equity for all students and staff.
  10. Perform additional duties as assigned.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Required:
  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Ability to meet the Highly Qualified criteria set by the district.
  3. Skills in teamwork, confidentiality, and effective communication.
