This role supports the mission of the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), specifically the Office of Single-Family Housing, in fostering strong, sustainable, and inclusive communities while ensuring access to quality affordable housing.

This position offers a unique opportunity to leverage your FHA knowledge and expertise. As the Knowledge Base Content Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and relevance of content on HUD's "FHA Knowledge Base Portal," a crucial resource for the mortgage sector and the public.

The ideal candidate will be meticulous and quality-driven, remaining informed about all updates or modifications to FHA policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and update knowledge base content for HUD and FHA programs to ensure alignment with current policies and procedures.
  • Conduct audits and validate all published knowledge base articles for precision, functionality, and formatting on a quarterly basis.
  • Adhere to deadlines for content updates in response to HUD requests and FHA policy revisions, following established operating procedures.
  • Oversee and delegate tasks to the Knowledge Base Content team, ensuring that performance standards are met.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience with Single Family FHA origination policies and procedures.
  • At least 4 years of experience in writing processes, procedures, or training materials within the mortgage industry, ensuring clarity for the intended audience.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to adapt to ongoing changes in systems, policies, and processes.
  • Capability to obtain a Public Trust Security clearance, which includes a credit check and background investigation.
