Job Overview

The BDC Sales Consultant will play a crucial role in managing all incoming inquiries through phone and online channels, identifying potential sales opportunities, scheduling appointments for the showroom, and serving as the initial contact for clients.

This role offers a competitive hourly wage plus commission, with monthly earnings ranging from $1,500 to $2,000.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively promote and seek opportunities to enhance the customer experience.
  • Engage with customers to understand their unique needs and present new/used vehicle sales options.
  • Collaborate closely with the BDC Manager and fellow BDC sales team members to ensure all sales leads are tracked and documented in the CRM system.
  • Utilize the CRM tracking system on a daily basis.
  • Complete assigned phone calls as directed by the BDC Manager.
  • Participate as a member of the BDC team, including cross-training for internet lead management and phone sales prospecting roles.
  • Conduct tours of the sales department.
  • Stay updated on new products, features, accessories, and their benefits to customers.
  • Attend product and sales training sessions as requested by the BDC.
  • Participate in sales meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one previous role in customer service.
  • A collaborative team player with a strong desire to improve.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents, professional journals, and technical procedures.
  • Strong writing skills for creating reports and business correspondence using MS Office Suite.
  • Presentation skills to effectively share information and address questions from various stakeholders.
  • Mathematical skills to perform calculations related to discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.
  • Ability to follow instructions presented in various formats.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
