Job Summary

SSM Health is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As an MRI Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Diagnostic Imaging department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI scanners to obtain high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare and position patients for exams, ensuring accurate and safe procedures.
  • Enter and monitor patient data, transferring images to PACS for further analysis.
  • Administer contrast media and medications as needed, adhering to state and federal regulations.
  • Ensure equipment is properly functioning, reporting any issues to maintenance personnel.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized department, including procedure rooms and storage areas.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and maintaining a safe and efficient workflow.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an MRI accredited program.
  • One year of experience preferred, but new graduates welcome.
