Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Medical Officer - Medical Affairs to join our team at CommonSpirit Health. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and service are maintained across our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with hospital staff, department directors, and physicians to drive quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Oversee the implementation of quality improvement efforts, including patient access and satisfaction, provider satisfaction, clinical outcomes, and process improvement.
  • Identify and evaluate outstanding physicians and physician groups for participation in our provider network.
  • Contribute to strategic plan and business plan development, including identification of strategic partners, growth, and resource allocation.

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree or DO degree with an active medical license.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience in a specialty and five years of management experience in healthcare.

Licensure:

  • Current active unrestricted license to practice medicine in at least one US state or territory and prior (or current) Board Certification in a specialty are required.
