MedStar Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our team at Medstar Health Georgetown University Hospital. This role involves providing patient care to an assigned group of patients, according to an established plan of care, under the direction and supervision of a licensed Registered Nurse.

The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to perform direct patient care technologies. As a Patient Care Technician, you will implement patients' plans of care as directed by the RN, reporting information and findings to the RN, and offering suggestions for revision of the plan of care as appropriate.

The primary duties of this role include providing direct bedside care to patients, performing routine sterile and non-sterile treatments, participating in patient/family teaching, and maintaining a safe and orderly patient/unit environment.

This position requires a High School Diploma or GED, BLS (Basic Life Support), and 1-2 years' experience as a certified nursing assistant or related healthcare experience in acute care.
