Quality Control Technician Role
Kelly Science & Clinical seeks a Quality Control Technician for a contract-to-hire position at a premier client in Portland, OR. If you're passionate about bringing the latest scientific discoveries to life and are ready to take the next step in your career, we're interested in hearing from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform microbiological and chemical testing to ensure food safety.
- Conduct pre-operation sanitation inspections and tests.
- Perform allergen inspections and testing.
- Sample and analyze raw, finished product, and environmental samples.
- Generate and report certificates of analysis.
- Maintain laboratory records and quality control records.
- Work cooperatively with management and colleagues.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and business ethics.
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science or related field preferred.
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role within the food industry preferred.
- Must be able to pass/maintain FSCPA certification and HACCP training.
