Core Responsibilities
Community Involvement:
  • Act as a representative of The Recovery Center of Ohio at various community gatherings, health fairs, and similar events.
  • Engage in community initiatives and events that resonate with our mission.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with community leaders, organizations, and stakeholders.

Education and Outreach:
  • Disseminate information regarding our programs and services to community members and prospective clients.
  • Facilitate presentations and workshops aimed at educating the public about substance use disorders and available support systems.

Partnership Building:
  • Forge and sustain partnerships with local organizations, healthcare providers, and other relevant entities.
  • Collaborate with partners to develop a comprehensive care system for individuals facing substance use challenges.

Monitoring and Reporting:
  • Document outreach efforts and results, including the number of events attended, partnerships formed, and referrals made.
  • Generate regular reports detailing outreach activities and their effectiveness.

Referral Development:
  • Identify potential opportunities for generating referrals to The Recovery Center of Ohio.
  • Follow up with individuals and organizations expressing interest in our programs and services.

Qualifications
  • Background in community outreach, public relations, or a similar field.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Capacity to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Dedication to assisting individuals with substance use disorders and advocating for community health.
  • Graphic design skills for digital marketing are advantageous but not mandatory.

Compensation
This role is hourly, with a starting rate of $17 per hour.
