About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team at Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dermatology team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate skin conditions of patients and provide accurate information to healthcare professionals.
  • Assess and update patient medical history, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Record and analyze patient dermatological symptoms, providing valuable insights for healthcare professionals.
  • Analyze information regarding skin health and provide recommendations for treatment.
  • Inform patients about available treatments and provide education on preventive skin care.
  • Conduct non-intrusive medical surgeries and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Screen patients and employees daily upon entry, maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Requirements:

  • Customer service experience required, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be computer literate and proficient in medical software.
  • CPR certification strongly preferred or ability to obtain certification within 4 weeks of employment.
  • Ability to learn and understand medical terminology and vital signs.
  • At least one year of dermatology experience preferred, with a certificate of completion or diploma from a medical vocational program.
