Thomas, Edwards Group is seeking a seasoned Chief Financial Officer to lead the financial strategy and operations of the company.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, particularly in the technology sector, and will be responsible for developing and implementing the company's financial strategy, aligning it with business objectives and growth plans.

The CFO will lead the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning, and will evaluate and manage financial risks to ensure the company's financial stability.

The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills, a high sense of integrity, and ownership over work product, and will be able to present to Boards and Executive level administrators.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing the company's financial strategy, aligning it with business objectives and growth plans
  • Leading the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
  • Evaluating and managing financial risks to ensure the company's financial stability
  • Developing and implementing best practices to ensure a well-controlled yet flexible organization
  • Partnering with the Executive team to build overall business model and financial strategies
  • Directing the preparation of financial statements and reporting metrics
  • Ensuring compliance and audit guidelines are met timely
  • Monitoring business performance with tracking tools and establishing corrective measures as needed
  • Ensuring the selection, development, and retention of well-qualified team members

Required skills include:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in senior financial leadership roles, with at least 5 years in the technology sector
  • Excellent leadership skills and enthusiastic problem-solving abilities
  • High sense of integrity and ownership over work product
  • Experience presenting to Boards and Executive level administrators
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills
  • Experience in mergers and acquisitions and investor relations
  • Proficiency with computer systems, including Microsoft Excel

Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred
