About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Critical Care Nurse Specialist to join our team at Scout Healthcare Staffing.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced critical care environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient plans, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identifying complex needs and tailoring interventions to meet the unique requirements of each patient.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records, utilizing technology and evidence-based practices to inform decision-making and drive improvement initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of safety, respect, and open communication among colleagues, patients, and families, promoting a positive work environment and exceptional patient experience.
Requirements
  • RN license with current certification in CCRN or CCNS preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of critical care experience, with expertise in cardiology, neurology, or trauma specialties
  • Excellent clinical judgment, leadership skills, and ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in electronic medical records and other relevant software
  • Aptitude for working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a highly competitive salary range of $85,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
