We are seeking a skilled Cancer Treatment Specialist - Radiation Oncology to join our team at Northern Arizona Healthcare Corporation.

About the Role

This position is responsible for delivering high-quality radiation therapy treatment to patients, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and possess strong knowledge of radiation therapy techniques and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

">

* Administer radiation treatment according to department policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to established safety standards.
* Collaborate with Lead Radiation Therapist, Dosimetrist, and Chief Medical Radiation Physicist or Medical Radiation Physicist to develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
* Provide input to continuity of care, ensuring seamless transitions between treatment sessions and relevant healthcare services.
* Participate in Cancer Center-sponsored community health screenings and events, promoting education and awareness about cancer prevention and treatment options.
* Stay current with state and federal regulations/statutes and company policies that impact radiation therapy practices, maintaining certifications and licenses as required.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must hold a Graduate degree from an ARRT-certified program (JCERT Required), High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) Required, Registered by Arizona State ADHS or Arizona Radiation Therapist License Required, and maintain CE credits to retain certification. A minimum 2 years experience as a Radiation Therapist is preferred, but new graduates are also welcome to apply. Healthcare professionals should have a strong understanding of computers, basic software programs, and electronic devices commonly used in patient care settings.

Compensation and Benefits
