Key Responsibilities
  • Conducts thorough testing of construction materials, including soil, concrete, and asphalt, to meet project specifications and standards.
  • Travels to various job sites to perform testing and returns samples for further analysis.
  • Accurately documents and reports testing results in accordance with established protocols.
  • Maintains and operates testing equipment, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to calibration schedules.
  • Communicates effectively with supervisors and team members regarding job status and site conditions.
  • Utilizes Field Data Collection (FDC) software for report preparation and data management.
  • Completes daily administrative tasks, including time reporting and paperwork submission.
  • Adheres to all safety regulations and company policies while on-site.
  • Demonstrates flexibility in work hours and schedules to accommodate project needs.
Qualifications
  • Possession of a valid Florida Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check in compliance with relevant state regulations.
  • Strong reading and writing skills, with the ability to interpret technical documents and communicate effectively.
  • Proficient in basic computer operations, including email and data entry.
  • Mathematical proficiency for performing calculations related to testing.
  • Ability to follow instructions and apply critical thinking to solve problems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification as an ACI Field Technician Level I.
  • Certification in Earthworks Construction Inspection - Level I.
