Automotive Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team at Mangino Chevrolet. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences.
About the RoleThis full-time position involves working in a fast-paced environment, interacting with customers via phone, email, and live chat, and providing them with information and support regarding our products and services.
Salary and BenefitsThe salary for this role is estimated to be between $35,000 and $50,000 per year, depending on experience, plus monthly commission. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, paid sick leave, group life insurance, long-term disability insurance, optional Aflac supplemental insurance, and a generous holiday bonus.
Job RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A minimum of one year of sales experience
- Experience in a BDC (Business Development Center) role is a must
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
Your primary responsibilities as a Customer Service Representative will include:
- Answering inbound customer calls and establishing follow-up appointments
- Making outbound customer calls to generate dealership traffic and new business
- Responding quickly to internet, phone, and live chat inquiries using email, scripts, and templates
- Providing customers with initial information and escalating them to the appropriate dealership resources for further information
- FOLLOWING UP WITH LEADS THAT MAY NOT BE READY TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT OR THAT RESULTED IN A NO-SHOW
- Participating in all team and process-development sessions
- Maintaining positive relationships with BDC teammates, sales teams, service teams, and dealership management
- Utilizing company systems daily (CRM, DMS, etc.)
- Keeping records of customer interactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken
- Completing any required forms, preparing change of address records, or updating customer information using computers
- Referencing unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation
- Cross-training in both sales and service departments as needed
- Contacting customers to respond to inquiries or to notify them of sales and service information
- All other work-related duties as assigned
