Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Assistant to join our Regional Resource Team at Novant Health. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and assist healthcare providers to ensure safe and effective patient care.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide exceptional patient experiences.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
  • Provide administrative and clinical support to ensure smooth operations.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and services.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program with an externship in a clinical setting.
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) required.
  • One year of experience in a medical office setting preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
