We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at Novant Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care and service.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and assist the provider to ensure safe, quality, and cost-effective service and care for patients.
- Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans, in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Provide administrative and clinical support to the healthcare team, including medication administration and other clinical duties.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment, fostering a culture of diversity and respect.
- High School Diploma or GED, required.
- Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant Program, including an externship in a clinical setting.
- Current certification as CMA, RMA, or CCMA, required.
- Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing.
