We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Neurology unit at Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission of delivering exceptional rehabilitation services.
Responsibilities- Assist patients in adapting to an altered lifestyle, while providing a therapeutic environment for patients and their families.
- Design and implement treatment strategies that promote physical, psychosocial, and spiritual health.
- Perform complex patient assessments and implement intensive interventions, including IVP meds, hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, ventilators, telemetry, chest tubes, tracheostomy care, and weaning.
- New York State RN License.
- Associates Degree in Nursing. BSN Preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to maintain the highest level of customer service while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
