In this capacity, you will oversee every facet of a product feature's rollout. You will ensure its design aligns with customer expectations, collaborate with engineering to uphold superior quality standards, and engage with the wider business to guarantee Axon's products remain competitive in the marketplace.
Your ResponsibilitiesLocation: Remote work options available across the United States, with a preference for candidates in Seattle WA or Scottsdale AZ, minimal travel expected (once per month)
Reports to: Director of Product Management for In-Vehicle Cameras
Direct Reports: None
- Initiate the launch of intricate software features, some of which will create new revenue opportunities. For these features, you will devise pricing strategies and go-to-market approaches.
- Utilize data-driven insights to inform product decisions, leveraging a combination of customer satisfaction metrics, product telemetry, and sales/marketing analytics.
- Oversee software quality and assess customer satisfaction for products serving a large user base (100K to 1M users).
- Collaborate closely with UX teams to deliver well-designed and engaging user experiences.
- Operate independently, fostering relationships across various departments within the organization, and establishing the collaborative framework for team operations at Axon.
- As a senior member of a distinguished Product Management team, you will mentor and support your PM colleagues to enhance their professional development.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business or a STEM discipline.
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience in product management. Experience with IoT devices, intelligent cameras, cloud software, or public safety technology is a plus.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of conveying simplified guidance to executive leadership and detailed visions to your PM colleagues and engineering teams.
- Ability to grasp technical complexities and communicate effectively while collaborating with engineering during feature development. Familiarity with technologies related to cloud-connected IoT devices, cameras, or AI-driven processes is advantageous.
- A strong focus on user and customer needs. Proficient in customer satisfaction measures (NPS/CSAT) and skilled at translating customer feedback into actionable product enhancements.
- A willingness to think ambitiously and creatively about feature ideas. You can simplify complex product concepts when necessary and provide detailed elaboration to ensure clarity in feature realization.

Compensation at Axon encompasses base salary, bonuses, and stock options. The starting base salary for this role ranges from USD 148,000 in lower geographic markets to USD 222,000 in higher geographic markets. Actual base pay is influenced by various factors, including level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of these elements.
