Key Responsibilities

Oversee the construction and assembly of enclosures while working under the general supervision of the Production Supervisor.

  • Supervise, train, and organize the processes for the construction and assembly of enclosures, sub-assemblies, and custom enclosures.
  • Create training schedules for team members and assembly lines.
  • Examine job travelers, drawings, and BOMs to ensure precision.
  • Identify issues and assess solutions through corrective actions and lean methodologies.
  • Regularly seek input from relevant management and peers to make informed decisions.
  • Collaborate with the team to enhance productivity, quality, and workflow.
  • Implement lean manufacturing practices.
  • Adhere to all guidelines and regulations outlined in the employee handbook.
  • Maintain 5S standards in workstations.
  • Exemplify ESL's core values in daily activities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

  • Able to read, train, and annotate drawings, job travelers, BOMs, and wiring schematics
  • Experienced in using and training others on small hand tools, measuring tools, wiring preparation tools, and shop machinery
Education and Experience

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Minimum of 1 year of experience as an assembler.

At least 1 year of electrical experience.

1 year of forklift operation experience.

1-2 years of lead manufacturing experience is strongly preferred.
