Breakthru Beverage Group is in search of a talented Business Insights Analyst to enhance our analytical capabilities.
The ideal candidate will excel at interpreting extensive datasets and is driven by the desire to extract business insights through the use of Power-BI for effective storytelling.
This role involves generating reports and offering strategic recommendations on potential growth areas for a diverse and high-profile business development division, aimed at key decision-makers.
The analyst will support the EVP of Diageo Business Development in various analytical and business planning tasks, focusing on sales metrics, performance evaluations, and identifying growth opportunities.
Additionally, the position requires active participation in planning sessions with senior leaders, serving as a subject matter expert in sales data and analytics.
This role operates in a hybrid model and can be based from various Breakthru Beverage office locations.Responsibilities:
Conduct complex data analysis projects to support multiple initiatives utilizing advanced Excel skills and presenting findings in PowerPoint.
Design and generate ad-hoc and user-generated reports from multiple systems on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, while also supporting requests for ad-hoc analysis for the Vice President and various sales leaders.
Assist the division head in analytical and business planning activities.
Create sales materials for the division, including monthly deal summaries, pricing reference documents, business plans, and other sales-related resources.
Oversee the administration of monthly sales incentive plans and serve as the primary contact for all related inquiries.
Additional duties may be assigned by the supervisor as necessary.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent training and experience
A minimum of 3 years' experience in finance, marketing, or a business analyst role
Strong proficiency in Power-BI
Advanced PC skills with MS Office and other software, including presentation tools
Results-oriented professional with strong verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating diplomacy and discretion, as well as customer service aptitude
Ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently or collaboratively, maintain attention to detail, and meet deadlines
Strong analytical and reporting capabilities
Sound judgment and problem-solving skills
Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume team environment
Preferred
Qualifications:
Experience with consumer packaged goods companies or data providers (e.g., IRI, Nielsen)
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Match Functions
Strong proficiency in PowerPoint
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this role, the employee may be required to remain stationary at times, communicate effectively, and operate a computer and telephone.
