About the Role

Brelje & Race Consulting Engineers is seeking an experienced senior civil engineer to join our team in the execution of water and wastewater projects. This full-time position will be based in our office in Santa Rosa, California, and is available immediately. Relocation assistance will be offered, if needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute projects including wastewater collection, pumping, treatment, and disposal facilities; potable water treatment, conveyance, and distribution facilities; and recycled water facilities.
  • Prepare technical reports and memoranda, conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling using various industry software, develop recommendations for equipment and materials selection, and prepare engineering calculations following standard methods and principles.
  • Mentor junior engineers and interact with clients and colleagues.
  • Assist with proposals and develop new clients over time.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Agricultural Engineering (or equivalent work experience)
  • 15+ years of related experience
  • Professional registration as a licensed Civil Engineer in California (or ability to obtain California P.E. license within six months of hire)
  • Proficient in use of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office suite
