Job Overview

As a Stock Control Specialist at FURNITURE CONNECTION, INC., you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless management of inventory and procurement processes. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze sales trends and inventory levels to maintain optimal stock availability, while also tracking shipments and deliveries to provide accurate lead time information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations, including processing orders, updating lead time reports, and managing invoices to ensure timely payments.
  • Accurately relay freight rates, pricing, and vendor information to relevant stakeholders and update our inventory management system accordingly.
  • Monitor and adjust processes related to credits, discounts, pricing, and new product releases.
  • Foster strong relationships with vendor representatives to ensure efficient collaboration.
  • Communicate effectively with the Merchandising Team regarding pricing adjustments and promotional events.
  • Generate monthly reports to track product performance, costs, and expenditures as required by management.
  • Maintain accurate records for end-of-month reporting, including credit memo logs.
  • Analyze monthly sales data to adjust stock levels based on demand and lead times.

Qualifications
