Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Estimator to join our talented San Francisco Bay area Cost Management team.
The successful candidate will consult on a wide portfolio of large-scale construction management programs for our key clients, including real estate, data centers, high-tech, and manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop cost plans and estimates from concept through detailed design.
- Support client land acquisitions.
- Deliver and present updated cost plans at appropriate design milestones.
- Review proposed design changes/new technologies and prepare estimates within appropriate accuracy levels.
- Understand design stages and estimate levels.
- Provide commercial input to design optioneering and input into value engineering exercises.
- Prepare cash commit forecasts for the construction life cycle.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders in the preparation of estimates/cost plans.
- Analyze labor markets and cost drivers such as unions and tax.
- Support client presentations.
- Deliver life cycle costing models.
- Benchmark integration to ensure accurate data capture.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience working in a construction cost role and developing estimates throughout the project lifecycle.
- College and/or post-graduate degree in construction management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a field related to construction.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a client-facing role.
- Experience developing program-level estimates for medium or large-scale construction projects.
- Good knowledge of construction industry technical matters, such as value management and value engineering.
- Experience using CostX is beneficial.
- Commercial real estate experience across commercial, hospitality, interiors, and retail sectors is strongly desirable.

The salary range for this full-time role is $140K-$160K per year. We offer a competitive total compensation package, including a comprehensive benefits program and opportunities for professional growth and development.
