About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Safety Trainer to join our team at Asplundh. As a key member of our safety team, you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and conducting safety and technical training programs to regional personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive safety training programs to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Safety Supervisor to conduct job site safety audits and identify areas for improvement.
  • Communicate and enforce regional and corporate policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Work closely with the Region Manager to develop and implement safety initiatives and programs.
  • Provide training and support to employees on the use of specialized equipment and tools.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain training materials and resources to support safety training programs.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a safety-related role, preferably in the utility industry.
  • Valid DOT Medical Card required; CDL preferred.
  • Ability to travel out of state for regular work and emergency storm work.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards.
