Housekeeper Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Housekeeper to join our team at North Carolina Specialty Hospital. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and disinfect patient rooms, bathrooms, and other areas as assigned
  • Restock housekeeping supplies and maintain a clean and organized janitorial closet
  • Assist with maintaining a safe and clean environment by following infection control procedures and reporting any hazards or concerns to management
  • Perform terminal cleaning of patient rooms and other areas as required
  • Assist with special projects and events as needed
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 1 year of experience in environmental services or housekeeping in an ambulatory/surgical setting preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
