Electronics Specialist

Actalent is seeking an experienced Electronics Technician to join our team. As an Electronics Technician, you will be responsible for building, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic and electromechanical assemblies.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with engineers to develop new designs, test fixtures, and test procedures.
- Perform test assignments that require adaptability and standardization.
- Communicate with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain technical specifications.
- Train and guide other technicians in following procedures and troubleshooting complex problems.
- Conduct engineering tests for data collection and evaluation.
- Analyze problems in assembly and schematic drawings, and recommend changes.
- Verify technical accuracy, operation, and sequencing of test procedures.
- Provide technical support to customers, including identifying and correcting specific problems.
- Prepare technical reports consisting of relevant test procedures and results.
- Troubleshoot and correct malfunctions at the component and subassembly level.
- Solder various components to PCB Assemblies.
- Assemble chassis components using a variety of hardware.
- Assemble electromechanical devices using a variety of hardware.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant job experience.
- Extensive experience in ICT or flying probe testing.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, job orders, specifications, drawings, schematics, process sheets, wiring diagrams, and small print for complex assemblies.
- Ability to read measurement and calibration tools and instruments.
- Soldering skills that meet IPC-A-610 Class 2.
